These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ferripay app and services provided by Ferripay ("we," "us," or "our").

By using the Ferripay app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the app.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ferripay, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any future updates. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Ferripay app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ferripay. By using the app, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.

Account Registration

To use the services provided by Ferripay, you must create an account. During registration, you will be required to provide accurate and up-to-date personal information, including your name, phone number, email address, and MoMo wallet details. You are responsible for keeping your account information secure and for any activity under your account.

Use of Services

Ferripay allows you to send, receive, and request money through mobile money platforms in Ghana (such as MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money). By using Ferripay, you agree to use the services for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • Use the app for any purpose that may harm, disrupt, or interfere with the functionality of Ferripay or any third-party services.
  • Share your login credentials with others or allow unauthorized access to your account.

Transactions

  • Sending Money: You can send money to any MoMo user by entering their mobile number and the transfer amount. Transaction fees may apply, and these fees will be displayed before confirming the transaction.
  • Receiving Money:You can receive money sent from any MoMo user, and the transaction will be processed immediately. You are responsible for ensuring that the funds are credited to your account.
  • Requesting Money: You can request money from any MoMo user by sending a payment request. The recipient must approve the request for the transaction to be completed.

Fees and Charges

Ferripay may charge fees for certain services, such as processing transactions, sending money, and requesting payments. Fees will be clearly stated before completing any transaction. By using the services, you agree to pay these fees. Fees are subject to change, and any updates will be communicated to you through the app.

Payment Methods

Ferripay integrates with various mobile money wallets (MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money) and is linked directly to your mobile wallet. You are responsible for ensuring that your mobile money account is active and contains sufficient funds to complete transactions.

Security and Privacy

We take the security of your information seriously. Ferripay uses encryption and other industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and transaction data. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your PIN and any authentication information. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must immediately notify us.

Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we find that you have repeatedly violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. You may also terminate your account by contacting customer support or deleting it within the app.

If your account is terminated, you will no longer have access to the services, and any pending transactions may be canceled.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, you agree to contact Ferripay customer support to resolve the issue. If the dispute cannot be resolved through customer support, it will be resolved through arbitration or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ferripay and its affiliates, partners, and service providers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app or services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of funds, transaction errors, or interruptions to services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ferripay, its employees, affiliates, and service providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the app or any violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Ferripay reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, a notification will be posted on the app with the new effective date. Your continued use of the app after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and your use of Ferripay are governed by the laws of Ghana without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
